Due to the pandemic we have had to change the way we work to enable us to practice safely. Our protocols our outlined below. Should you need any advice regarding treatment during the COVID pandemic please do call or email us using the contact form.
If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 please do NOT come to your appointment, call or email us and we can rearrange your appointment. If you do arrive with any signs of COVID-19 we will politely ask you to leave, protecting everyone involved.
Please be aware of the new systems we have put in place:
Masks and hand hygiene – Upon arrival we will ask you to wear a mask. We will also ask you to sanitise your hands when entering the clinic room practicing good hand hygiene.
Temperature checks – All practitioners will check their temperature before the clinic opens. All patients will also have their temperature checked before treatment commences, if your temperature is high you will be asked to leave and your appointment will be rearranged.
Equipment and cleaning – All equipment used will be disinfected between treatments, including door handles, clinic bed, seating and all commonly handled items.
Allergies – Please let us know if you have any allergies to latex/nitrile gloves as we will be wearing gloves to work in as required by law.
Social Distancing – Please keep your distance to two metres when waiting for your appointment.
PPE – During treatment we will be wearing a disposable face mask, apron and gloves. We will also be keeping high hygiene standards when cleaning the room.
Shielding or Vulnerable people – Please visit the government website for information on this.
Should you require a chaperone, especially if you are under the age of sixteen. You will only be allowed one extra person to accompany you. They must also follow the guidelines provided here.
If any of the following applies to you please do NOT attend your appointment:
- You have a new continuous cough.
- You have a high temperature (37.8 C and above)
- You have experienced changes to your smell and/or taste.
- You have been in contact with anyone who has been confirmed with COVID-19 or have been asked to self isolate.
